The Firm
Certified Engineering Inc is a forensic and structural engineering practice. The firm investigates structural failure, establishes cause, and produces analysis that holds up under the scrutiny it will not choose — opposing experts in litigation, audit under public contract, and peer review before a code body.
The practice is retained by government agencies, institutional owners, insurers and their counsel, and international clients. Its work spans buildings, bridges, and industrial structures, and covers the full arc of a matter: first inspection, evidence preservation, computational analysis, written opinion, and testimony.
Practice
Investigate first, model second, conclude last — and document all three so another engineer can follow the same path to the same finding.

Principal

Founder & Principal Engineer
Forensic engineering is the discipline of arriving after the fact and establishing what actually happened. Most structural engineering is predictive; forensic work runs the other way — a structure has already behaved, and the engineer reconstructs the load history, the material state, and the sequence that produced it.
